Crews continue to work on widely scattered outages caused by high winds and lightning strikes throughout much of our system. At the height of the outages, over 1,550 members were without power as a severe thunderstorms traveled south over much of our service territory. Broken poles, downed lines, and damaged transformers caused many of the outages. Currently 61 customers are without power in 19 separate outages. These individual outages will take longer to restore as they are widely scattered with power being restored to only one or two meter at each location. Crews will continue to work until everyone is restored.
