Crinum lilies and rain lilies are heat loving perennial bulbs that thrive in the south. Crinums make large clumps and bear pink or white flowers on 2′-3′ tall scapes in summer. Rain lilies are much smaller, growing only 8″ to 12″ tall and bloom five to seven days following rain fall. They can be purchased as bulbs or container grown plants. Add some to your landscape for surprising splashes of summer color.
