Critical Analysis in a literature review A critical analysis, in a nutshell, is a process of deciding if you agree or disagree with a certain viewpoint, argument, or theory. To ensure that you are critically analysing a text or an argument, just use this checklist of top tips as a guide: Test out the opinions your have against the ones that you are reading. Ask yourself what you think about the subject.
