Crona Chapter 1: Revolution A revolution is not an apple that falls when its ripe; you have to make it fall. When dictatorship is a fact, rebellion becomes a right. Those ambitious enough to successfully swipe or maintain power in the face of utter chaos gains the irrefutable respect of the cronian citizen. Needless to say, that is a task much harder said than done. ~Lucifer; 3010 The environment of planet crona remains as brutal and ferocious as it has always been. The civilian attitudes may be a little more welcoming, but dont mistake that for acceptance. One false move and your head will be swiped off your shoulders before your body can know its gone. Cronian citizens dont play games; they are a society of warriors born and breed for the heat of battle. When you are born on a planet in which even the children wield some type of supernatural power, you have no choice but to be battle-tested. The constant fighting and bickering over the years has created a society with such a close bond that it is impossible for any outsider to break. The cronian civilization is one family, blood couldnt make any individual two any closer. If or when you are accepted into this brotherhood, you will experience a bond like no other. Planet Crona is a planet dangerously close to its sun. The heat from the sun keeps the inner core of the planet highly active to the point of instability causing magma to continuously propel to the surface. Volcanoes are more common than there are people; the abundance of magma is three times more common than any form of water. It doesnt rain water, it rains magma. There is a special type of plating that coats the various houses above the surface. Most homes are below the surface, living underground is the best way to stay away from the suns fatal heat rays and the magma that continuously finds a home all across the surface. Citizens must rely on their supernatural prowess to survive above the surface. Crona has most recently been nicknamed, The Underground Kingdom. Civilians dont take kindly to an absent ruler. To be an inactive leader is to be no leader at all. Each and every last citizen was left with a sour taste and a bad impression of the current leader when he disappeared for many months, leaving an incompetent replacement in his absence. Upon his return, he is not universally accepted. Though many civilians are willing to give the Sanguine Butterfly another chance, there is a very influential faction of the population that calls for his removal and coup detat. Before their movement can be suppressed, the word spreads on an intergalactic scale that planet cronas leadership is in question. That message is inaccurately altered to that the cronian civilization is in need of a new leadership. Justly or not, this is the predicament that the Sanguine Butterfly and his garrison are left with. In order to maintain control over planet crona, they must fend off any individuals or groups that come to siege his dictatorial power without any outside help. Crona has a reputation for not seeking help from outsiders. For a dictator to call upon such an act would be seen as treasonous. Finally, due to the treaty held between planet Crona and the Blood Wing, the Blood-Okami cannot interfere in domestic affairs. In other words, it is up to the dictator and his garrison to maintain their power or be pushed aside by a more competent dictator. Successful revolution or failed coup détat? Only time would tell. And thus began the Cronian Revolution. //Open RP
