PSA for all pregnant or soon/one-day-to-be pregnant ladies: A co-worker mentioned to me that I should call my health insurance company to see what benefits they offer for breastfeeding supplies. Apparently, it is common that they will cover the entire (or large percentage) cost of a breast pump or rental of hospital grade pump. I called and, who knew!? I am not sure what exactly I will be getting, but I am 100% covered for a Medela electric pump! Last time I rented from the hospital and had no idea this coverage existed!
