Crop Over 2014....The Turning Point What a season for the soca music of Barbados..... Shout out to all the producers who took risk in new vibes... Shout out to every dj who just let the good music play.... Shout out to every artist who contributed to the festival (as many dont know the financial thrust that most of you place into the festival along with the music that you create) Shout out to the writers....especially guys like Sanctuary, Shaft (big up the Red Boys with a hell of a season), and last but not least the new bloods Saddis and Leadpipe....it wasnt the same ole same ole.....there were VIBES!!! Shout out to all the kaiso artist that still represent that side of our culture that people seem to have drifted away from, or the you generations who have never taken a look at your craft. Looking forward to seeing a rise in power of kaiso and tents in Bim again. Last on my list of personal interest....I say Thank You to all my fans who kept asking for me, those who supported me from the beginning of my career, and those who have supported me for this season. It was a really competitive season for me with little reward but I can only hope my initial intentions were noted.......meaning..... I look forward to seeing every single person, who puts on a costume for kadooment, in the road having a blast of a time. Forget everything for just that one day....every problem....every burden....and when you see persons who talk badly about you......SHOW THEM YOUR BEAUTY!!!! Be safe tomorrow......Happy Crop Over Basil
