Crossed ladders from two ladder trucks formed an arch under which our funeral procession traveled, honored Harry Miller today. From the top of that cross Old Glory flew proudly. We were escorted by police cruisers all the way to the cemetery. Harry was a firefighter for 22 years. He served in the Merchant Marine fleet during WWII (serving in Normandy and the surrenders of Germany and Japan. The American Legion had an honor guard for Harry, complete with a 21 gun salute. After a Christian service, at the request of his family, Ohio Lodge #1, held a Masonic funeral for their brother. It was a big day. Penelope and both cats went to Town and Country Animal Hospital while I was at the funeral, for shots. Resting this evening. I hope your day went well. Have a great evening. God bless. Lord, Thank You for the many ways love was shown today. Please heal those of us who are ill, and protect those who protect and care for us. In Jesus the Christs name we pray, amen.
