Crying in church - Ive been wondering if this happens to anyone else? Every Sunday it starts during praise and worship for me. I find I have to bring tissues to church because I become overwhelmed when I am filled with the Holy Spirit. Today, the music really got me and I found myself crying while lifting The Lords name in praise. I had the authentic experience of feeling the presence of God very clearly today. It was like He was asking me to stop being embarrassed about my tears and just give in to them, raise my hands and sing. I think next weekend Im going to be brave enough to do it instead of being shy about being choked up. Maybe it will encourage someone else to do the same? Does this happen to anyone else?
