Crystal Palace gaffer Ian Holloway is to make a £2.5m swoop for controversial West Brom and Nigeria forward Osaze Odemwingie. Holloway wants the all action striker to join ‘The Eagles’ and give them extra variety in their attack as they try to maintain an EPL status. Odemwingie is out of favour at ‘The Hawthorns’ after his bizarre attempt to force a move to QPR in January. Albion will take less money for Odemwingie than they wanted in the last window, but they are prepared to get him off their books. The former Lokomotiv Moscow star was previously linked with Swansea City in the past.
