Cuban rafter found off Main Key! This is not what you think! 67 year old Jorge was rescued today floating out to sea in his blow up raft off of Main Key. “My friends dropped us off (me and 2 of my friends) here while they took some people tubing and others went jet skiing. I was just lying back on my raft enjoying the weather when I tried to step down out of my raft and I couldn’t touch the bottom. I can’t swim, nor can my friend, so I just kept drifting out to sea. Then this boat came and I waved them down to come and rescue me. I had been floating out there for 20 – 30 minutes. I am very grateful. Thank God they came at that time because I didn’t know what I was going to do and I was very tired.”
