Cumberland County High School has announced their choice for a new football coach. He is Ken Johnson. Coach Johnson comes to CCHS from Walker Valley High School where he has been on staff for the past 8 years. At Walker Valley he served as the Assistant Head Coach and the Co-Offensive Coordinator. Prior to joining the staff at Walker Valley, Coach Johnson spent three years at the University of Tennessee, where he worked with every aspect of the football program under former Head Coach Phillip Fulmer. Coach Johnson and his wife Angela have two children, Stone 7 and Sydni 2, and a third due this summer. This decision comes after an extensive search, which included over fifty applicants.
