Current & former Shipyarders, As of 1 July, JBPHH will no longer require, nor issue, DoD vehicle decals for vehicle access to JBPHH and all of its annexes. All vehicles entering JBPHH or its annexes must continue to be licensed, registered, inspected and insured in accordance with state and local laws. Current decals may be left on the vehicle until the expiration date for ease of access to other installations requiring decals. Rental vehicles: the rental contract will suffice as proper licensing, registration and proof of insurance for installation access. Motorcycle operators shall comply with the directives listed above and be in compliance with OPNAVINST 5100.12J, Navy Traffic Safety Program. Personnel with current decals will register vehicles at the JBPHH Pass & ID Office upon expiration of their current decals. Parking placards for individuals in the ranks of E-9 and O-6 and above will be issued from the JBPHH Pass & ID Office upon verification of rank. (NOTE: This is intended to support parking stalls that are assigned by military rank throughout JBPHH (e.g. NEX parking)). For more information, contact the JBPHH Pass & ID Office at 471-2131. Updated information will also be posted on the JBPHH website at cnic.navy.mil/regions/cnrh/installations/jb_pearl_harbor_hickam/about/departments/pass_and_id/jbphh-vehicle-decal-elimination-faqs.html.
