Currently enjoying my Christmas present from Lisa Riley - The King is Dead - 2011 Album by The Decembrists. I think this was their breakthrough album. The Decembrists were recommended to me 4 years ago by a couple of my hipper friends. After finally seeking them out last year, I am now a fan and will be purchasing the rest of their backlist forthwith. As Exhibit A I submit the opening track - a folk/pop/punk-tinged anthem .
