An excellent opportunity has arisen to work for Lyn-Comm as a Customer Service Apprentice. Lyn-Comm is based in Scarrots Lane, Newport. They deal with repairs to mobile phones, PC/laptops, GHD Straighteners etc. They have a regular clientele as well as new custom. They do stock some basic accessories which customers can buy. It is a very small, chatty team who like to work in a relaxed atmosphere. The successful applicant will be the first person dealing with any customers either over the telephone, face to face or via email. They will be advising and helping with the customers queries. Duties to include: Answering the telephone Greeting customers Booking in jobs to the workbook Helping to diagnose problems through polite questioning to the customer then passing this information onto the repair team Advising customers correctly Cash handling Dealing with stockists Learning about the job Team work Keeping the shop clean and tidy and welcoming for customers Skills Required IT Literate Good communication skills both written and verbal Polite Understanding of customers especially if they have a problem Initiative Ability to represent the company well Willing to learn Apprenticeship Framework Intermediate Apprenticeship in Customer Service (CFA) Qualifications Required Ideally GCSEs should have grades at C or above (or equivalents) Personal Qualities Polite Friendly Confident Common Sense Good sense of humour Welcoming Well presented Working Week 7.5 hrs, Mon-Fri 9-5pm. 30 mins break Weekly Wage £102.38 per week To apply for this position: please attach your CV and cover letter telling us why you are suitable.
