Cutting off ties with people is never really easy. Especially when you genuinely care for that person. But you know whats harder than that? Continuing to struggle with whatever theyre putting you through. Ive been a master of disappointment to many people over the last few years, I wasnt what some expected, I use big words, and I let my emotions guide me and interfere with my judgement, but Ive never changed...Ive always stayed true to myself. I hate when Im close to somebody and it ends the same way: filled with bullshit, with so much uncertainty of what could have been. But I hate disloyalty and being placed on the back burner even more. Its sad we go through the loss of friendships and the deterioration of relationships, but, its necessary...as hated and unwanted as it seems, its totally necessary, because it gives us the chance to see whos still there, whos still worth your time. We live in a perfectly imbalanced world, and I, along with most of you, are sailors traveling through it, trying to find our Plymouth Rock, whether its the love of your life, your best friend, or a project youve been letting consume you. Fortunately, some of you have found it, for the single, alone, unfulfilled like myself, just remember what Tom Hanks said...he knew for sure tomorrow the Sun will rise. Who knows what the tide will bring?
