Let the rant begin! I see countless boob selfies on my feed accompanied by lines like Staying in tonight or Anyone else lazy like me? that have nothing to do with the fact that these ladies are sharing pictures of their cleavage. Heres the thing: I appreciate boob posts. I LOVE that women are proud of their bodies and want to share. I just dont understand why we cant be honest with ourselves and others. If these tags and comments are supposed to be ways of masking the fact that women love their boobs or are fishing for compliments, they arent doing a great job. Lets cut to the chase ladies. If your rack/butt/stomach/hair/face is looking slammin and you want to share it with the world, dont post a photo and say Feeling bloated or I hate the humidity. I know this faux self-deprecating attitude is used to avoid seeming pompous or narcissistic and is something that we have learned from years of watching other women do the same, but liking yourself is A GOOD THING. Why be insincerely negative when you could be sincerely positive? Lets face it, selfies are already vain. We need to cut the bullshit and be real. Post a photo comment here of a selfie that included a lame comment about something non-related and then tell me why you really shared the picture. Im totally serious. Lets start a movement!
