Geraint Thomas put on the pressure and released Richie Porte to attack for the win. The tour leader & local boy Rohan Dennis from BMC Racing Team sitting flush on his wheel ready to pounce. This is where you have to admire the strength of Richie Porte who kept an eye on his competitors who were lined up behind him (including Cadel Evans), and still managed to ride with so much power that one by one they dropped off his wheel. The closer he got to the finish, the more powerful Richie became. OUTSTANDING!
