Cyclone Jim - Jims last moments while conscious: Pat (Jims sister) and I read him posts that people wrote on his facebook wall over the past few weeks since he was not able to use his laptop and probably had not read them yet. He was so appreciative to all the messages and he felt loved. I made sure to read him every last one. We watched a few videos that other posted on his wall too. He especially liked the video that Roy Britt posted (I will post link below in comments). It shows Jim as a young man and warms my heart to hear his voice. Jim enjoyed the chocolate frosting on a Halloween cupcake (Jim loved sweets). We talked storms and Pat told us how he used to drive her and their Mom crazy showing his storm videos at Christmas time, haha. Jim got a chuckle out of that. We were only able to make him laugh a few times but he was in good spirits up until the end. He was not interested in the sunny day that was outside his window, I told him to look at the photo hanging on the wall of Hurricane Wilma and pretend that is a window and that is whats happening outside. He loved that ! As everyone knows, Jim loved Storms (Hurricanes/Tornadoes). That was his main drive in life. Jim lived his life the way he wanted and for that I am happy. Putting aside his love for storms, he was also very caring. I have seen many people with his same passion that Jim took under his wing and showed the Ropes. Personally, I have so many stories of things Jim did for me that helped keep me on the right track in life. Jim had a huge heart and was a kind soul...Jim used to tell me that seeing wind (especially strong wind) is what made him tick. Whenever I feel a gust of wind hit my body, I will think of Cyclone Jim...
