DA to continue fight for release of the “Zuma Spy Tapes” @JAMESSELFE3 24 July 2013 Release: immediate Today the Chairperson of the DA Federal Executive, James Selfe MP, will attend court proceedings in the North Gauteng High Court where the DA’s legal counsel will continue to fight for the release of the “Zuma Spy Tapes”. The DA will request that the North Gauteng High Court compel the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) to hand over documents and tapes that the Supreme Court of Appeal (SCA) found the DA was entitled to. The DA has been waiting for the reduced record of the decision to discontinue the prosecution of Jacob Zuma since April 2012 when the SCA made its ruling. It is extraordinary that the DA is even required to ask a court to compel the NPA to abide by an order of the SCA. There will be opportunities for interviews and photographs after the court proceedings. Date: Wednesday, 24 July 2013 Time: 10:00 Venue: Court 6F, North Gauteng High Court, Vermeulen St, Pretoria Twitter: Follow #SpyTapes for live updates from court
