Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ[a] by the will of God, according to the promise of life which is in Christ Jesus, Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me His prisoner, but share with me in the sufferings for the gospel according to the power of God, who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began, but has now been revealed by the appearing of our Savior Jesus Christ, who has abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel, to which I was appointed a preacher, an apostle, and a teacher of the Gentiles. 2 Timothy 1;1,8-11 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.” Romans 1;16-17 Friends,our times and lives are in the able hands of a great and powerful God,who through the sacrificial death of His precious son,Jesus Christ,restored lasting spiritual life and joy to humankind. There is no life outside of Jesus Christ of Nazareth and the good life he gives through the Gospel of Salvation which we acclaim and proclaim to a directionless,sin infested world. It is pertinent to stress that the so called glamorous life of unequal riches/wealth which the world offers is but a false gift built upon quicksand foundation which begs for time to collapse. Christ died to give us lasting life,joy,glory,complete deliverance and victory over death. .... for in Him we live and move and have our being, as also some of your own poets have said, ‘For we are also His offspring.’ Acts 17;28 Blessed is the man who listens to me,Watching daily at my gates,Waiting at the posts of my doors. For whoever finds me finds life,And obtains favor from the Lord; But he who sins against me wrongs his own soul;All those who hate me love death. Proverbs 8;34-36 Not that anyone has seen the Father, except He who is from God; He has seen the Father. Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me has everlasting life. I am the bread of life.Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and are dead. This is the bread which comes down from heaven, that one may eat of it and not die. I am the living bread which came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread that I shall give is My flesh, which I shall give for the life of the world.” John 46-51 Friends, the gospel of Salvation which the blood sacrifice of our Lord, Jesus Christ, brought remains the authentic source of redemption God has perfected to restore the life of immortality He originally planned for man when He created him in his own glorious image of enduring life and glory. Jesus loves you and is truly calling you to a life of genuine repentance and salvation so he can give you lasting life and heavenly joy/inheritance/glory. Please,please,please repent and avail yourself of this glorious and kind gesture form the Lord.Do not settle for earthly glory,acclaim,and joy which fades with the passage of time. Remember the world and its false glory is passing away sooner than we all anticipate, but eternal/lasting gory and life await those obedient saints who have passed through the purifying lens of the word of Salvation which the Gospel of His kingdom offers. Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world. 17 And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever. 1 John 2;15-17 May God continue to give us all the grace to abide faithful until we reach the finishing line and live with him forever,Amen.
