DAILY SPIRITUAL FOOD; SET UP A STANDARD FOR MY PEOPLE; Go through,Go through the gates!Prepare the way for the people;Build up, Build up the highway!Take out the stones,Lift up a banner for the peoples! Indeed the Lord has proclaimed To the end of the world:“Say to the daughter of Zion,‘Surely your salvation is coming;Behold, His reward is with Him,And His work before Him.’” And they shall call them The Holy People, The Redeemed of the Lord;And you shall be called Sought Out,A City Not Forsaken. Isaiah 62;10-12 Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said:“I will dwell in them And walk among them.I will be their God,And they shall be My people. Therefore“Come out from among them And be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean,And I will receive you.” I will be a Father to you,And you shall be My sons and daughters,Says the Lord Almighty.”2 Corinthians 6;14,16-18 The church Jesus built is supposed to be a light to the world of darkness. God commissioned the church to live a life of programmed scriptural, spiritual, and moral discipline and to point a decaying and direction-less world toward the blazing path of this light of salvation and reformation. Our lives as true Christians represent the mirror Jesus sends to this world of evil to transform lives. Jesus commanded us to beam this light of salvation into the lives and shattered destinies of men and women trapped in the darkness enveloping the world. You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lamp stand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. (Matthew 5:14–16) God is exposing the way of purity to the world through his transformative agent, the church, just as he sent Jesus to mirror the image of God to the world that is in dire need of acceptable morality and purity of life. He therefore expects the discipleship structures of the church to measure up to his standards. God commanded Isaiah to set up a standard of purity for his people. The book of life,the Bible, suggests some biblical models that could help the church effectively accomplish this noble work of Discipleship. Friends,the Church Jesus built needs the fullness of Christ to be able to accomplish Gods earthly purpose-true heavenly Discipleship. It is very interesting to note that in each discipleship era/period ,God commands and expects His called,anointed and commissioned servants to always set a high-normally heavenly - standards for His faithful followers to follow. God is a unique being of high and holy standards and demands that His followers follow suite.He showed Moses and other old and new testament messengers heavenly models/standards to tow and faithfully accomplish the divine tasks given them. And let them make Me a sanctuary, that I may dwell among them. According to all that I show you, that is, the pattern of the tabernacle and the pattern of all its furnishings, just so you shall make it.And see to it that you make them according to the pattern which was shown you on the mountain. Exodus 25;8-9,40 It is high time the Church of God wakes up from spiritual slumber and re-discovers Gods ways/standards,and walk in that narrow path of holiness and purity of life to heaven. The zero hour is fast approaching . The window of grace is about being shut. It is time to stop building denominational walls and start following the master and saviour,Jesus Christ, in truth and holiness. The only way to that eternal glory and heavenly joy.
