DAILY SPIRITUAL FOOD; SOUL-WINNING/EVANGELISM -THE HEART BEAT OF A HOLY GOD. Behold,all souls are mine;The soul of the father as well as the soul of the son is mine;The soul who sins shall die. Do I have any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? says the Lord God,not that he should turn from his ways and live?Ezekiel 18;4,23 Brethren,soul winning or Evangelism is the heart beat of a loving and merciful God. He is genuinely concerned for the true salvation of lost sinners and wants all saved and properly trained and brought into his heavenly kingdom. Gods love for the unsaved knows no bound and extends beyond racial,geographical ,tribal and socio-political boundaries. This love is divine,refreshing,saving,genuine,unconditional,lasting,transforming and above all easy to reach. The evidence of Gods love for humanity is littered all over the holy scriptures and can be seen on the pages of human and biblical history. He wants all of humanity redeemed from the satanic bondage and afflictions the devil has subjected mankind. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son,that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His son into the world to condemn the world,but that the world through Him might be saved. John 3;16,17 Brethren,God has given us the word of repentance,deliverance and life to enable us extend this divine love and concern by winning and bringing the multitudes of lost sinners into his glorious kingdom. This is the ministry of reconciliation whereby men and women are been reconciled to the saving arms of God for true salvation and transformation.He expects us to be partners with Him as he uses us as instruments to extend this love and compassion to a lost and direction-less world. Are you willing to partner with God in fulfilling this divine target ? He grants us divine wisdom and grace as we make ourselves available and willing. The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life.And he who wins souls is wise.Proverbs 11;30 Those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the firmament ;And those who turn many to righteousness like the stars forever and ever.Daniel 12;3 Brethren,if anyone among you wanders from the truth,and someone turns him back,let him know that he who turns a sinner from the error of his way will save a soul from death and cover a multitude of sins.James 5;19-20 And above all things have fervent love for one another,for love will cover a multitude of sins.1 Peter 4;8 The Lord gave the word ;Great was the company of those who proclaimed it.Psalm 68;11 It is useful to stress that in witnessing for the Lord ,Jesus Christ, we must make Christ the main object of the Gospel message we herald (announce).we must not project or focus attention to ourselves ,churches or groups for us to make the soul -winning effective and purposeful. we must ,without fail,emphasize the whole divine truth as is contained in the holy scriptures .A soul-winning or witnessing without the divine truth is dead and lacks the spiritual energy to save lost souls for God. It is like trying effortlessly to drive a car without fuel. A faithful witness does not lie,but a false witness will utter lies.Proverbs 14;5 Friends, true soul-winning /witnessing (Evangelism) makes room for genuine deliverance from sin ,darkness and all forms of worldliness.This consequently delivers from death. A true witness delivers souls,but a deceitful witness speaks lies .Proverbs 14;25 EXAMPLES OF BIBLICAL WITNESSING(EVANGELISM); 1.John the baptist; Matthew 3;1-17,Mark 1;1-8,Luke 3;2-20;John 1;19-30 John the baptist made numerous (many) disciple ,through the master art of soul-winning. 2.Jesus Christ; Matthew 4;17-25, John 4;6-30;Matthew 5;1-48; 6;1-34;7;1-29;John 1;35-48 our Lord Jesus Christ witnessed and gave us a true and effective model for true soul winning/Evangelism. 3. Paul,Peter and other new testament disciples witnessed and won many converts for the Lord . Brethren,will you be willing and ready to present yourselves for this great stewardship the Lord is calling you into? Brethren,Jesus has commanded us to go into all the nooks and crannies of this wicked ,direction-less world to evangelize and save humanity from the impending torments and punishment coming from an angry God. Some people see only the loving side of God ,but fail to realize that if humanity refuses to receive Gods true love and compassion,they will see God in the other realm of fierce judgement. For our God is a consuming fire. Hebrews 12;29;Luke 24;45-49;Matthew 28;19-20. I pray that we make ourselves available and fully prepared ,just as the disciples of the old, to partner with God in this great kingdoms work of salvation. May we be wise enough to bring Joy and laughter to the heart of a loving saviour ,who loved us first and gave his life for us, as a ransom on the cross of Calvary ,over two thousand years ago//God bless as you head the divine call/charge to partner God to win and bring lost souls into his glorious,ever abiding presence. .
