DALLAS The light Ive named especially for you. While it is left on Ill be forever blue. Wishing, hoping and praying one day, That you will see it and come home to stay. I wont beg or plead to see you again. I only hope you look within. Within your heart and your soul. Look to see why we grew cold. I look out the window to see if youre there. Thinking maybe you still care. I know I’m a fool but I cant move on. Not yet! Not until you tell me “be gone”. I will be here and I will wait. Many hours I sit, some are late. I know why you said you don’t want to hurt me. I also know what you could be. You know it too so don’t be a fool. Tell me the truth even if its cruel. You wouldn’t of come back if thats not what you wanted. Again and again, it feels so haunted. Your light is burning but not for long. One day it will be put out, it will be gone.
