Just saw that my old aircraft 31-0312 was retired to AMARG last year. For those of you that werent Crew Chiefs you probably think its silly, but it really makes me sad that shes not flying anymore. When I first came into the Air Force I was an assistant on her with Jerry Koch as my Crew Chief. I learned a lot from him and Todd Wilson on that aircraft. Then at Grand Forks, when I was much older but no more wiser, I remember going into the office and seeing her on the list and fighting to get assigned to her. I was honored to have been the DCC on that bird. I went many a country on her. Gonna miss her. She served her country well.
