DANGEL HOST BIRTHDAY PARTY, FOR SON MARCO-DEAN It was another festive year as DAngel hosted a birthday party for her son, Marco-Dean, on the lawns of Devon House in St Andrew last Saturday. Marco-Dean, who turned seven, and his friends were kept entertained as they interacted with the dancing clown, who also did face painting. There was much playing on the mechanical bull, trampoline, train and bounce about. With the birthday youngster as the party king, the selector played a wide range of songs from Michael Jackson. There was even a life-size replica of Marco-Dean as he stood like a rockstar holding a guitar. danced As the evening neared its end, the children danced and at one point DAngel danced with them to the Sponge Bob theme song. Eventually it was time to cut the cake that was done by Patricia Lewinson from Rhapsody Cakes. But it was quite the hassle to organise the children who all wanted to cut the cake with the birthday boy. With his father, Beenie Man, on tour in Europe, a video message was played with Beenie Man wishing his son all the best for his birthday. A Michael Jackson dance off should have also followed but Marco-Dean did not seem to be in much of a mood to be part of it. Nonetheless, the children got their party favours and eventually left.
