DARETON - WENTWORTH - BURONGA 1. Between 10am on mon the 30.9. and 5pm on tues the 1.10 a break and enter occurred at an Arthur Street, Wentworth address. Offenders have gained access by forcing a front window and once inside they have stolten the following property:- 1 x Pulsar Mens watch 1 x Jag Mens Watch 1 x Apple Ipod 1 x Citizen Watch Ladies 1 x Joseph Rodger Pocket Knife 1 x Hyundai car key 1 x 50 cent coin collection 1 x tin containing coins The property is valued at a couple of thousand dollars. Inquiries are continuing and any person with any information is urged to contact their local Police Station, or even contact Crimestoppers on 1800 333000 2. Police are investigating a break and enter that occurred at a Coomealla based high school some time around 1040pm on mon the 30.9. Offenders had cut a hole in the shed and gained entry, tripping an alarm Police attended, however no person was located and inquiries revealed that they were unsure if any property had been stolen Further inquiries by the school has identified that the following property has been stolen during the offence:- GMC Metal Cut Saw Angle Grinder Honda self propelled motor Line trimmer Hammer Drill Wheel barrow The property is valued at a couple of thousand dollars 3. Another concerning theft targeting a tourist at a caravan in our Local Area Command has been reported to Police Between 6am and 7am on mon the 30.9. offenders have gone to a tent at a Wentworth based caravan park and gained entry, stealing a large sum of money from inside a handbag The sum of money is valued at over a thousand dollars It is very concerning for Police that some lowlife would target tourists to our area and in particular, appear to do so within a short period of time, believed to be in broad daylight Inquiries are continuing
