DATE: 12/23/2014 SEEKING ART DIRECTOR (PAID) for company LOCATION: Miami Position: Sr Art Director - (Seeking AD with hip/edgy style) Location: Dade County Status: Freelance to Full Time Estimated Duration: Ongoing Starts: Within a Couple Weeks Rate: $85k-$95K DOE Job Description: Our client a local network is looking for a Sr. Art Director to join their team. Reporting to the Creative Director, The St. Art Director will work with and lead a collaborative team of designers and animators and production coordinators. Balancing creative thinking with interpersonal skills, this person will demonstrate an ability to justify concepts to both upper management and the project teams. The Art Director manages and oversees the artistic design and project management of the network. The Art Director will be tasked with interfacing with members of the production and marketing teams to ensure quality and brand consistency. The main responsibilities: -Develop concepts and packages for broadcast with internal and external creative teams that are aligned with the networks brand. -Oversee and approve workflow for a dozen designer/animators in all manner of print, motion and web graphics. -Manage projects from conceptualization to delivery for all programming. -Directly contributing to project design and development: creating storyboards / initial graphic concepts conceiving functional design solutions for sets -Providing quality assurance of all creative deliverables -Collaborating with show producers on concept and execution of projects and requests ensuring that network branding remains consistent. Qualifications: -Bachelors degree. -Minimum of 8+ years of broadcast design experience. -Expertise level of Adobe AfterEffects, Cinema 4D, Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator etc. -Prior management/supervisory experience in a creative capacity; minimum of 3 years preferred. -Strong design and conceptualization skills. -Ability to work nights and weekends and additional hours as needed.. -VizRT experience a PLUS. -A thorough understanding of the trends in visual aesthetics and designs of pop culture, specifically relating to our millennial audience.
