DAUGHTER OF DGP J&K POLICE ARRESTED. Jammu: An elderly man was crushed to death by a car here at Rehari Chowk allegedly driven by the daughter of J&K Director General of Police (DGP), K Rajendra Kumar. In a statement here a Police spokesman said: “Today at about 0700 hours one car SX4 bearing registration No.JK02BA-4112, while on way to Balwinder Chowk from Sarwal, hit one person Inderjeet Padha S/o Diwan Chand Padha H.No.24, Lane No.30 Rajpura Jammu, who was a retired Health Department Employee. Injured was immediately shifted to GMC Jammu for specialized treatment, where he was declared as brought dead by the doctors.” “In this connection case FIR No.144/2014 u/s 279, 304-A RPC has been registered in Police Station Pacca Danga and one person namely Pooja D/o K. Rajender Kumar , DGP J&K , has been arrested and vehicle has also been seized. The investigation of the case has been set into motion,” the spokesman added.
