DAY 1 OF FASTING AND PRAYER PROGRAMME. FOCUS: ADORATION, APPRECIATION AND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF GODS. TEXTS: PSALM 103; 1-22; 1 SAMUEL 2-1-2. INSPIRATIONAL INSIGHT King David reasoned deeply and said: I will sing of mercy and justice to you, O Lord, I will sing praises (Psalm 101:1). Later, the same thoughtful and grateful king also said; Bless the Lord O my soul; and all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the Lord O my soul and forget not all His benefits (Psalm 103:1-2). This man after Gods heart continued to mention the benefits he derived from God one after the other. These include spiritual and physical; secular and material; seen and unseen; known and unknown. It is exactly a year ago that this programme was held. There is urgent need for us to think and thank God. His blessings over us are numerous. He is very good unto us. Let us arise and appreciate Him, acknowledge His mercy and adore Him for His goodness. 1. Lord, I thank you for all your goodness and mercies in my Life. 2. Father, I praise you for your love lavished on me and my home. 3. Thank you God for the death and ressurrection of your son for me. 4. I give you praise for the forgiveness of my sins. 5. Thank you Lord for healing, health and your delight in my victory and prosperity. 6. You have been an unseen partner in my Life, business and family. So, I praise your name. 7. Thank your God, for your peace, provision and protection. 8. Thank you for clothing my life with glory, beauty and honour. 9. Thank you for the effectiveness of your word in my life. 10. Oh God I praise you for your plan and purpose for my life and there is nothing that can frustrate them. 11. I praise your name for your daily guidance and direction. 12. Think of other things and benefits you have personally received from God and praise Him. 13. Thank Him for your church and alll members of the church. 14. Thank Him for this country and this state for allowing your peace to reign. PART TWO SPECIAL SUPPLICATION FOR ANOINTING FOR RESULT ORIENTED PRAYERS. 1. Fire of the Holy spirit, purge us and purify us and make us fit for this spiritual exercise in Jesus name. 2. Pardon all our iniquities and cleanse us from all sins in the name of Jesus Christ. 3. Fill us with your Holy Spirit and empower us to do this fasting diligently, spiritually and scripturally in the name of Jesus. 4. Reveal and remove anything in our lives that may serve as impediment to our prayers in Jesus name. 5. Create in us the burden to pray and the unction to get answers in Jesus name. 6. Visit us Oh God and pour your Holy Spirit upon us in this time of prayer in Jesus name. 7. Let there be mighty revival accomplished with many miracles, blessings, signs and wonders in the name of Jesus name. 8. Father, put an end to virus and bacteria outbreak in West Africa and provide solution to arrrest the situation.
