DAY 10 | Bringing it Back Around the first stop for bathrooms and gas, the longing to be home finally sets in. Perhaps it’s true homesickness or grumpiness from a decision to stay up too late the night before. Regardless of the source, it’s unanimous that everyone is ready to be home! Amidst the fatigue, there’s a sense of accomplishment. “Well done good and faithful worker” resonate in their minds as they count down the miles. Share your pride in their choice to go on the mission trip when they return. Parents, this is where your part of the mission trip experience kicks into high gear. The debriefing of their experience in the context of your family may provide the most powerful outcomes of their mission trip.
