~~~~DAY 16 of P.T.T.W.9~~~~ Will will Pray for ISRAEL & TAJIKISTAN today! Will YOU? #ISRAEL, MIDDLE EAST Prayer4Israel Recent incidents on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem have strained relations between Jordan and Israel. The holy site was closed recently in response to the shooting of a religious activist. The activist campaigned for Jews to be allowed to pray there. Jordanian stewardship of the al-Aqsa compound was recognized in the 1994 peace treaty with Israel. The location is the third holiest site in Islam and the holiest in Judaism. According to Ynetnews, Israel’s Prime Minister Netanyahu and Jordanian King Abdullah met recently reiterating the “status quo of the Al-Aqsa compound and Jordan’s role in managing the holy site.” Please pray for Israel in its effort to maintain peace in the area. Pray that the Holy Spirit will lead the Christian Believers in Israel to intercede effectively for the lost in this precious land. Pray that those who desire to worship God will worship Him in Spirit and truth (The Bible, John 4:19-24). #TAJIKISTAN, CENTRAL ASIA #Pray4Tajikistan According to Radio Free Europe, Tajikistan has serious concerns over the rise of Islamic State (IS) in Central Asia. There have been reports of Central Asians joining IS in the conflict in Syria. It is reported that a “Tajik national had been appointed the emir (leader) of the IS-controlled Rappa province.” There could be as many as 200 Tajik nationals fighting in Syria. Three Tajik students were sent to prison by the Supreme Court for fighting with the opposition group in Syria. Pray the Tajik government controls the flow of those wanting to join IS. Pray they resist the radical influence IS wants to impose in the region. Pray that Tajik Christian Believers will not shrink back but will unite in faith and prayer against the plans of the enemy (The Bible, John 10:10).
