DAY 17 of 22 - 22 Days of Fit Tips Today’s post is about Desk Stretches Generally speaking, sitting is bad. While I wish everyone who has to work at a desk could have a stand up desk, I realize that isnt going to happen anytime soon. So if you have to sit at a desk, I highly recommend that you set a timer and get up frequently to move your body. I also recommend a couple stretches that focus on areas that are commonly tight due to sitting. 1. Neck stretch - gently let the head fall to the side 2. Glute stretch - actively press the knee towards the floor 3. Shoulder/Chest stretch - actively pull your shoulders back and down 4. Quad/Hip flexor stretch - keep your chest up and use the desk for support 5. Upper back stretch (T-spine) - let your chest fall towards the floor and breathe Please share this post or tag anyone who you feel would benefit from this content. Thanks.
