DAY 25 CANNES, FRANCE What trip to south of France would be complete without a trip to Cannes, home of the famous film festival and playground of the rich and famous! We werent just visiting we belonged here, with our bikes and our tents, Hmmmm well maybe not..... The night preceding though you could have been forgiven if you thought you were in a wind tunnel such was the ferocity of the wind so it came as no surprise that a breeze of that magnitude brought in some rainy weather. With raincoats on we headed to the train station to head 30min up the track to Cannes. Make no mistake our raincoat were glamorous ones though! Squally weather plagued us all day as we poked around the seaside town that over all was nothing out of the ordinary except for the fact it hosts a pretty famous film festival! I also feel we didnt see it in her best light though and compounding my mood was the knowledge that tommorrow is out transit day home. I already know it will be one of the longest days of my life. We grabbed a pizza on the way home and got into bed early.....
