DAY 28 UPDATE - FREDS DAY 3rd last day today and we have 13 people out running today, 97.13km run today bringing the total to 4596.08km. Longest run of the day was from Gillian Callan with 16km, just the usual from Gillian! But today was all about Fred Mc Eleavey and his brilliant watch selfies. Fred completed the 100k challenge today, I have to own up here to a major balls up on my part. Fred asked me on Wednesday how far he had left to run, I told him just over 7k. He ran this on Thursday & sent it on to me. I emailed him back and told him Well done fred only 3k left to run. Fred, slighted pissed off replied, What??? you told me I only had 7k left I misread the spreadsheet and gave Fred the wrong details, so only for this Fred would have been finished long ago! Sorry Fred! We now have 30 people who have completed the 100k, outstanding effort from everyone. There is 7 who on the verge of it, so if you can help out with anyone, please do! I need to get a ballpark figure on numbers for Friday night in the Bayview, so can you let me know by commenting below if your coming! Only 2 days to go, so Im going to leaving the totals everyones run until then. Hoping for lots of people out tomorrow evening, last day of the group run at 7:15 from the community centre.
