DAY 30. HOW TO GET WEALTHY BY THE GOD OF JOB 13 The blessing of him that was ready to perish came upon me: and I caused the widows heart to sing for joy. Job 29:13 (KJV) There are many varied dimensions of the God of Job. We always focus on the pain side of Job’s life and gloss over his wealth. We take the wealth as the backdrop for the pain and not a main part of the story. Today as we take a final look at the God of Job, it will only be appropriate to look at how this God blesses. In reality this is the God we really want to encounter in our lives. There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil. 2 And there were born unto him seven sons and three daughters. 3 His substance also was seven thousand sheep, and three thousand camels, and five hundred yoke of oxen, and five hundred she asses, and a very great household; so that this man was the greatest of all the men of the east. Job 1:1-3 (KJV) How did Job become so wealthy and so influential? Is that not what we consider as the ultimate success? When Job had gone through his ordeal and had lost everything, how did he gain everything back? If we could find the answer to this question, won’t we be on our way to greatness ourselves? Thankfully, the God of Job reveals it all. The book of Job is probably the one that is filled with the most scientific knowledge of the earth. It is in this book that we discover that the earth is a circle. It is in this book that we discover that the belly of the earth is a hot molten lava. These facts were stated long before science could verify them as the truth. There is a law of science however that is not stated explicitly in the book of Job but it is so powerfully employed. It is the First law of thermodynamics. It states that Energy can neither be created nor destroyed, it can only be changed from one form to another. To understand it you first have to understand what scientists call energy. “What is energy? No ones really sure, but there are two definitions. 1) Energy is whatever it is that makes up the Universe. Everything that exists, according to Albert Einstein, is some form of energy, although there are many different types. Whatever energy is, we cant seem to make any more of it or get rid of it; it can change to a different form, but the amount of it cant change. 2) Energy is also used to mean the potential for work that something has; the greater the ability of something to change the things around it, the more energy it has.” Source: bbc.co.uk/dna By this second definition, you will agree with me that whoever wrote this have given a beautiful definition of money and wealth. Money and wealth can change the things around it including people. Therefore by the first law of thermodynamics, money can neither be created nor destroyed. Every money or wealth you require today was created once by God at the beginning. God has made provision for every human being that has ever lived on earth and will ever live on earth. There will always be enough for every man, but the challenge is that this energy (wealth) is unevenly distributed. Wealth is always flowing (like energy) from one place to another; or from one person to another, from one country to another. It is neither created nor can it be destroyed. Here’s an example. When the Titanic sank in 1912 the owners lost $7.5 million. But in 1998, James Cameron made a killing grossing over $1.8 billion from his movie titled The Titanic. Our national loss in PHCN is China’s gain in manufacturing generators. Throughout the bible and in life therefore, you find out that for one man to prosper another man has to go down. Every time you hear a testimony of a financial breakthrough or a job breakthrough, know of a certainty that someone lost that opportunity. It also follows that the job you are looking for, the money you are looking for is in the hands of someone somewhere in the world. Job reveals how to use this principle to become wealthy EFFORTLESSLY. Here’s how: The blessing of him that was ready to perish came upon me: Job 29:13 (KJV) (c) OMG DeepWords Devotional.
