DAY 80 – DO IT NOW --------------------------------- The LORD is gracious and will always be gracious and merciful. These are not just good values to him; they are part of his character. They are his attributes. The devil would like you to believe a lie that looks like the truth. May be you have started believing that lie. I fear, some of you have believed his lies and deceit. May be he has whispered even this in your ear, “Don’t worry about Jesus, faith and repenting now. You are still young, just enjoy life for now and put this faith thing out of your mind. You may repent when you are about to die. You may be forgiven on your death-bed.” The devil will ruin you by such suggestions. Don’t entertain them for a moment. Do not be ungrateful because of God’s kindness. Do not provoke the LORD because of his patience. Such behaviour and conduct is unworthy and ungrateful. Yes, the LORD will accept all who repent - but, how do you know that you will repent? There were two thieves that were nailed to death with the LORD Jesus. One thief was saved, but the other thief was lost. You cannot presume. You don’t know how you will behave on your death-bed. I hope you are not made up of such evil thoughts as to use the mercy of God as argument for continuing in sin. If you do that despite being warned, then your damnation is just and you will have brought it upon yourselves. If any of you have not trusted in the LORD Jesus, do it now. Do it today. Believe now! Repent now while you can. Believe on the LORD Jesus and you shall be saved.
