DAY ONE - LISTEN Isaiah 32:9-11 Rise up, ye women that are at ease; hear my voice, ye careless daughters; give ear unto my speech. Many days and years shall ye be troubled, ye careless women: for the vintage shall fail, the gathering shall not come. Tremble, ye women that are at ease; be troubled, ye careless ones: strip you, and make you bare, and gird sackcloth upon your loins. Listening to the voice of The Lord through His Word is a deep desire we must all long for in this generation. The temptation is to take easy and be casual with the things of God and yet burn all our energy and resources for temporal things. It is not right to develop a care free attitude to the Word and voice of God. What, normally, is your response when the Word of God convicts you in one area of your life? Take note that a care-free attitude to the Word of God will always lead to failure. Isaiah says, for your crops will fail and the harvest will never take place. This is scary, yet true, but thanks be to God that He always gives us a way out. Its time to tremble; time to throw off complacency and throw ourselves into His hands that mercy may triumph over judgement. May I encourage you to never justify yourself, but to tremble at his Word. What did The Lord minister to you yesterday? How are you utilizing your gifts and talents in your local Church? LORD HELP ME BELIEVE AND PRACTICE WHAT I BELIEVE.
