DAY TWO ON SILO POOL PROJECT - Workmen from Hallmark Construction finished securing the area around the silo foundation, brought in equipment, and began removing the soil from the silo foundation pit, in preparation for construction of the silo pool. The portion of the silo foundation that was below ground is in remarkably good condition. And the filler soil (composted silage) appears to be lovely old compost. Stay tuned!
