DC reviews measures for effective traffic monitoring SRINAGAR, DECEMBER 19: To ensure smooth plying of traffic in Srinagar city, Deputy Commissioner, Srinagar Mr. Farooq Ahmed Shah convened a meeting of concerned officers here today to review the measures being taken up for monitoring traffic management. Among others Senior Superintendent of Police Srinagar, Additional Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Regional Transport Officer Kashmir, senior officers of Srinagar Municipal Corporation were present on the occasion. The modalities for smooth plying of traffic were threadbare discussed in the meeting besides deliberating upon several issues aimed at further streamlining of traffic system. Shah enjoined upon the officers to strictly abide by the instructions for smooth vehicular movement. He also informed that steps are being taken to facilitate the commuters in Srinagar city.
