DDBR has had a busy couple of weeks. Weve taken in several new Dogues who ALL need major vetting. PLEASE help us help them by donating to DDBR. Raine is a young male (likely under a year) located near South Dallas. His owner dumped him and 5 other dogs (all different breeds) at a gas station on a busy highway, where he and 2 of the others stayed for over a month. It took a while, but our awesome volunteers finally gained his trust and captured him, during the middle of the night in a rain storm. Raine is very, very new to our program and we will start his vetting shortly. What we do know is that he is young, probably around 9 months old, crate trained, seems to have been mistreated (very leery and “ducks” when you go to pet him), is borderline emaciated, was loaded with fleas and parasites and has been eating garbage for the last month. He is slowly learning to trust. We will post more about Raine once we know more about him. Completed application and reference/home check required. Standard adoption fee is $450 applies to all of our rescues.
