DDC Reviews arrangements for Ramdaan District Development Commissioner, Reasi, Dr Shahid Iqbal Choudhary today convened a meeting of district officers to finalize arrangements for fasting month of Ramdaan starting this week. Issues related to supply of ration, power, water, Medicare and sanitation were discussed. The DDC directed EXEN EM&RE to ensure interrupted power supply during sehri and iftaar times. PHE department and CAPD department were directed for regular water and ration supply to far flung areas in the district as well as Katra and Reasi town during the month. Executive Officer, Municipal Committee assured that measures will be taken for ensuring sanitation and cleanliness in town areas. DDC was informed that Director CA&PD has reduced the quote of district by 1000 quantils last month thereby the problem of shortage is on rise. He assured to take up matter with the department to ensure that scarcity of food grains is avoided. The meeting was attended by ExEn PDD Sanjeev Rathore, ExEn PHE Nissar Khan, Tehsildars Gopal Singh and Rajesh Baru, Executive Officer Thakur Dass, Administrator Auqaf Tariq Bhat, AD CA&PD, TSOs, AEEs of PHE, PDD and prominent citizens.
