Noel and Trina (owners of Flanagans) are longtime friends with the rescue $5 Wristbands This Weekend For Ridiculous Specials In Downtown Dunedin All To Benefit Noel Cooney In His Recovery! Note that our ONLY location for selling wristbands now is in Edgewater Park at Seafood Fest from noon to 4 pm. Look for the big flags that say RACE at our booth. This weekend is Noel Cooney weekend in Dunedin! As we know our favorite Irish performer, and owner of Flanagan’s Irish Pub downtown, suffered a terrible stroke 2 weeks ago and he could use our love and support on his difficult road to recovery. Noel is conscious and understands what has happened to him but he is just beginning to put words together and has a long road of rehabilitation ahead of him. In the meantime we each get one more chance to put $5 in his tip jar to show our love. We will be honoring him with discounts downtown for anyone who would like to participate. You can purchase a “Noel Cooney” wristband from noon to 4 downtown in Edgewater Park at Seafood Fest Saturday only. Your $5 goes directly and 100% to the Cooney family along with your name on a community card for Noel. Just show your Noel Cooney band on March 22nd to get specials at participating downtown bars and restaurants.
