***DEAL of the day*** (2.99-->1.99) Sid the Squid is a beautifully illustrated story book. It tells the story of Sid the Squid who sets out on a journey to find the perfect job for himself. In the end after trying many different jobs Sid finally finds the perfect job for himself. The perfect job included being able to help other animals and teach people about the gorgeous ocean that he lives in. I love that the story has a hidden meaning behind it and helps to teach children about the ocean as well as teaching them that there is a perfect job out there for everyone. Whilst there is some interactions and animations included to be able to use the story with younger readers I would like to have seen some more interactions on each page. It did take a little while for pages to turn as well. I would also have liked to have seen the text slightly larger and highlighted as the story was being read to allow younger children to follow along with the story. My 2 young ones liked the story however they were looking for more interactions and highlighted text. As it is, the app is more suited for older children around 8 and up.
