Players must be literate and have some proficiency in language and vocabulary to participate effectively. In the Mayan culture kids predict, while in the Roman Empire they answer How questions. Answering Why and Which questions, vocabulary, figurative language sequencing and inferences are the other skills covered. Players can visit different empires during the same game depending on what skills they need to practice.
