My buddy, Chris Minardi is taking the night off from playing our favorite Rolling Stones tunes with his band Hot Rocks, so he can join me for some fun music. M & M will start at 7:00 on the patio, Wednesday, July 23rd. ============================= Sunday, July 27th A special tribute to a special guy. Russ Ward, Ken Slauf and myself will be performing at the Pete Special Memorial event. We’ll be playing songs the three of us performed with Pete back in the 1960s and ‘70s, remembering our old bandmate. The event starts at 2:00 and we will be onstage around 7:00 pm. The show will be at the House Of Blues at 329 N. Dearborn in Chicago. And from Chicago, it’s off to Palatine for a fundraiser at Durty Nellies. Toucan Management Group presents Beating The Odds Benefit for Joe ( Mojo) Mohlman. Joe has been fighting Stage4 Pancreatic Cancer I’ll be performing with the Kurt Michaels Continuum We’re on at 10:00 pm, Sunday night, July 27th. 180 No. Smith Street. ======================= And……A little jazz in Geneva at The Odalisque. 101 South 3rd Street. The Mark Wydra Quartet will be performing on Thursday, July 24th from 6- 8:00. And then for something completely different! Time for some ‘50s and ‘60s with a little Elvis thrown in for good measure. I’ll be roaring away on the bass with Mike Valentine and the Heartbeats. We’ll be performing on July 25th at The Outriggers Steakhouse, 803 Joliet Rd., Countryside, Il. and July 26th at the VFW Hall in Dyer, In.
