DEEPER BLUE...GUERNSEY FISH IN 2014 Look out Guernsey! ....in just over a week, a team of eight Club Apnea divers aka THE JERSEY BOYS are invading Guernsey for a weekend of spearfishing ......and probably some beer drinking! They will be taking part in a species hunting competition which is run over two days. The idea is to catch as many species as possible from a list of eligible fish (catch and weight limits apply). This is great social weekend, with a bit of light hearted friendly competition, and superb hospitality from our Guernsey friends (particularly Martyn and Sarah) Hopefully a few good fish will be caught and hopefully the Jersey boys will beat Gnsy and the UK teams this year! (They want the team tankard back!) Thanks to Stephan of Deeper Blue there may be a few other prizes up for grabs. Thanks also to Neil at Apnea dive shop for donating a superb omer roller gun which is to be awarded to the winner. The winner will also have the great privilege of getting their name on the trophy.
