DEFENSE NEWS......Yesterday around 5pm, the defense agency of CNR had successfully test fire two inter-continental ballistic missiles (ICBM) at Pulami and near CNR ploutry farm. DRUK Vol.I a short range missiles wich is capable of producing 7 degree C heat inside and had range of 7 meter per hour was successfully test fire under the leadership of colonel Hemlal Sanyasi at Pulami. In response to DRUK Vol.I, Major General Pema Namgay and his team also test fire ARA Vol. II (Nick name: Local) a long range missile wich will produce a range of 2 meter per hour and capable of producing a heat of 18 degree C inside a body, putting a terrorist group such as Lungs Liberation Group (LLG) and Liver Fighter (LF) within a range. During our interview with Missile expert Maj.Gen. Pema Namgay, he told us dat due to lack of fund from the Ministry of Defense he could produce only a number of missile (around 3) in a month. Gopa Jinx Xuba, one of the Artala of Maj.general further explained dat the development of missile would be successful if people could contribute minimum of Nu.35 in a Day for the welfare of CNR Missile Agency. However, Defense minister Lynpo Sonam Zangpo said dat at the end of this month, the allocation of budget would be review for the welfare of Maj.Gen.Pema Namgay and his team for the development of ARA Vol.II Misiles. Maj.Gen. Pema Namgay had been graduated from Ara Defense Academy in 1847(Jaigon) and Ara Missile Academy in 1884(Pune). He had been awarded a Gold medal for bravery and gallantry service to people and nation during a National Day in 1857 by First Desi of Bhutan inside Machen lhakhang of Punakha.Colonel Hemlal and his team is further planning to develop ICBM such as HIGHLAND Vol.III and TAKIN Vol.I wich is world long range missile at end of the semester. The development of both the missile (DRUK Vol.I and ARA Vol.II) had been started from the beginning of the semester by their respective team (July 21,2014) and many Missiles experts, Engineers, researchers, and lower rank of Army are still working for further development of Missiles to save guard people and countrys sovereignty.......
