DELETED...GONE...DISPOSED OF... Some people may in fact be wishing it was me that became deleted or disposed of or simply had gone, but alas twas not me. I have deleted the thread about the opinion I formed over the Christmas parade. It was just that an opinion. There was some great discussion which is what it is all about but when someone brings in to the thread a member of my family and when another gets real nasty towards me then its time to pull the pin. I can handle it, but bring the family into it, then you have gone too far. I am simply gob smacked that it got to that level of nastiness something we have not seen on this page. I will however leave the following which is in fact the last post on the thread im talking about.......it is from Miriata Oranje Just finished reading all the comments ... some positive, some negative, some ppl agreed with RCL, some disagreed and then reacted quite defensively. Whatever your opinion people theres one way and ONLY one way to improve our Rotorua Xmas Parade .... submit a float. Have a xmas theme, play music or drums or dance around, have xmas decorations, tinself, elves or whatever, etc ... and make a difference. Bring back the xmas parades of old ... the bag pipes, the huge santa float at the end that made me as a child feel amazed and awestruck .. Bottom line is its up to us. Merry Christmas
