DELHI HIGH COURT - Sr. P.WAY SUPERVISORS MUST GET THE BENEFIT OF MERGER FROM 1st NOVEMBER 2003. Everyone is aware that only NFIR has been fighting for the legitimate rights of Railwaymen of all cadres. We had demanded for merger of Sr. P. Way Supervisor with JE (P.Way) vide our PNM item no. 28/2012 with effect from 01.11.2003. After persistent efforts the Railway Board issued orders on 03rd July 2013 agreeing for merger of Sr. P. Way Supervisor with JE (P.Way) w.e.f., 03rd July 2013. Meanwhile, the Delhi High Court had given a judgment on 29th July 2013 in response to a petition filed by R.G. Yadav and others vide case no. W.P. (C) 3677/2013 confirming the stance taken by NFIR that the benefits must be w.e.f., 01st November 2003.
