DESERT FESTIVAL ( 1-3 FEBRUARY 2015), JAISALMER The Desert Festival is the 3-day annual festival held in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan in the month of February. It is organized by the Rajasthan Tourism Corporation and consists of several events notably Folk songs and dances, Camel Races, Mr. Desert Contest, “The Moustache Competition” and Puppet Shows, that attracts domestic as well as foreign tourists. Gair and fire dancers are the major attraction of this event. Tourists can take a full enjoyment of camel rides on the full moon and dance performance of folk artists during the event.
